Tales From A Doctors’ Surgery

My inactivity threshold is a tad on the low side, so doctors’ surgeries and waiting rooms are not my friends. Fortunately, during the relatively short wait this morning, I had my iPad with me and once people-watching no longer supplied my brain with anything of even mild interest I turned my attention to the ceiling.

Studying the ceiling in a doctors’ surgery can only be likened to reading the sick-bag on a flight.. Amongst the cobwebs of a British NHS waiting room there really isn’t a lot to titivate even the lobotomised amongst us but the lights looked like they could be worth snapping with the iPad camera, soooo.. I’m not sure what the other patients thought I was doing but I think a couple checked their arrival slips to make sure they hadn’t taken a wrong turn and ended up in the psychiatric wing..
